We are looking for a highly skilled Java & Struts Developer with expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Struts 1.x, Hibernate, and database management. The ideal candidate should have experience in requirement gathering, design, development, and deployment of Java-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements, provide estimations, and contribute to design, development, and testing.
- Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications using Core Java, JSP, Servlets, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
- Work extensively with Struts 1.x framework for application development.
- Implement ORM frameworks like Hibernate, JPA, or TopLink for database interaction.
- Utilize design patterns and UML for architectural planning.
- Deploy applications using IBM RAD 6.x / RSA 7.0 on WAS 6.x application server.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle 10g/11g.
- Work with XML and Web Services (SOAP/REST) for system integrations.
- Develop scripts for UNIX-based environments for automation and deployment.
- Implement JavaScript/jQuery for front-end enhancements.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Act as an individual contributor while coordinating effectively with the development team.
Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in Java & J2EE development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Struts 1.x, JSP, Servlets, and Multithreading.
- Proficiency in ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA/TopLink).
- Hands-on experience in design patterns and UML modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle databases.
- Experience in XML, Web Services, UNIX scripting is a plus.
- Good understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and client interaction abilities.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
