Java Springboot AWS Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java, Springboot and AWS Lead (MLSE/LSE) to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for leading and driving the development of complex, scalable, and high-performance applications utilizing Java, Springboot, and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects

- Design and develop highly scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Java and Springboot

- Architect, implement, and optimize AWS cloud services and infrastructure

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals

- Troubleshoot and address performance and security issues

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in Java, Springboot, and AWS

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or a related field

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with a strong focus on Springboot

- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure

- Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining software systems

- Provide technical guidance and support for architectural design and development

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Java Springboot and AWS development

- Take ownership of the overall technical solution and drive the implementation of best practices and standards

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance system performance and efficiency

- Act as a subject matter expert for Java Springboot and AWS technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering process.
