Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization strategy for legacy applications, transforming monolithic architectures into microservices-based, cloud-native solutions.
- Define end-to-end architecture for modernized systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess existing codebases and design modernization roadmaps.
- Architect solutions to migrate applications to Platform or other target platforms, leveraging containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Establish technology standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks for modernization projects.
- Drive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for refactored systems and integration layers.
- Integrate AI-driven workflows and automation into modernized architecture where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements during migration.
- Advocate for DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for modernized applications.
- Mentor development teams on modern architecture principles, microservices design, and cloud deployment strategies.
Required Skills
- 1215 years of experience in solution architecture and application modernization.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture, API design (REST/GraphQL), and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments.
- Solid understanding of legacy system analysis, refactoring strategies, and migration planning.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React) and backend technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET).
- Familiarity with AI integration, Agentic AI frameworks, and automation tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, Kubernetes Administrator, TOGAF, or AI/ML certifications.
- Experience in industrial or IoT platforms.
