Job Description React JS + Java / JS Engineer
Job Summary
The React JS/JSEngineer Role:
The Software Engineer must have demonstrable hands-on experience that shows understanding of how Digital Solutions play a critical role in an organization, and has experience working in UI technologies. The Software Engineer will be able to demonstrate he/she can select the right methodologies and management practices.
The successful candidate will be contributing to the overall strategy and evolution of the technology platforms used to support the Digital Solutions environment including cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the low level technical design of all customer solutions
- Contributing to the business plan and business case for new solution development
- Contribute to the technical solution development roadmap where applicable
- Identifying and filling gaps to ensure solutions are developed on-time, within budget and with the required quality
- Contribute and influence guidelines (i.e. concepts, policies, principles, rules, patterns, interfaces and standards) to use when building new solutions.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must have experience working in Java 11, ReactJS, Spring boot applications
- Proficient in CSS, HTML
- Experience using JavaScript building tools
- Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks including ReactJS.
- Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.
- Knowledge in developing database applications with PostgresSQL, MongoDB
- Experience working in cloud based technologies GCP
- Experience in building CICD Pipelines, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes
- Performing unit and integration testing
- Communicating changes to documentation and QA teams
- Experience in Agile development methodology and Scrum
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan
