Java Software Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking a Java Developer with stronghands-on ability to integrate UI components with PostgreSQL and Java/J2EE backend applications. The ideal candidate will be capable of building scalable UI screens, creating intuitive user experiences, and working effectively in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience with telecom systems and EMS FCAPS functionalities is an added advantage.

What You'll Do:

• Work Summary - 4G EMS to manage FCAPS of LTE OpenvRAN product portfolio and software roadmaps.
• Backend Developer with proven experience in PostgreSQL, Java/J2EE and hands on with shell scripts
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java/J2EE and SOAP.
• Work with PostgreSQL to design and optimize relational database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Exposure to Shell and Python Scripting.
• Develop SOAP APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
• Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing for PostgreSQL .
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend systems, databases, and APIs.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to work as part of a high competitive environment and should be able to handle pressure of hitting deadlines which is part of startup.
• Should be a self-starter and should be ready for multi-tasking.

Experties You'll Bring:

• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, design patterns, data structures, and related technologies.
• Prior knowledge of working EMS FCAPS functionalities for RAN Products.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and database management.
• Proficiency in working with SOAP Based API's.
• Solid knowledge of Java and related frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience with shell and python scripting.
• Proper hands-on knowledge on YANG definitions and rules.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education
