About the Position:
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based backend development and deep understanding of networking fundamentals. In this role, you will design, build, and enhance advanced network management and routing solutions using modern frameworks like Spring and Microservices. You will work across critical networking technologiesincluding L2/L3 protocols, MPLS, and NMS/EMS systemsto develop scalable, resilient, and highperformance services.
Your ability to architect complex systems, troubleshoot Linux-based environments, and translate networking concepts into robust software solutions will be key to driving innovation across our network management ecosystem. What You'll Do:
- Design, architect, and develop backend services using Java, Spring, and Microservices frameworks.
- Build scalable and resilient systems aligned with modern software architecture principles.
- Integrate and enhance networking management capabilities such as VLAN, STP, LACP, UDLD, LAG, and Storm Control.
- Implement L3 functionalities including Static Routing, OSPF, BGP, IPv6 Routing, ECMP, and Multicast.
- Work with MPLS protocols and contribute to endtoend routing solutions.
- Collaborate with NMS/EMS platforms to develop features for device management, monitoring, and configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and system issues in Linux-based environments.
- Participate in system design discussions, evaluate technical approaches, and influence architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality, production-ready solutions.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including switching, routing, and key protocol behaviors.
- Proven proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, and backend architecture.
- Solid foundation in system design and architecture, including scalable service design and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging in Linux environments, including logs, networking tools, and system-level analysis.
- Familiarity with L2 technologies such as VLAN, STP, LACP, LAG, UDLD, and Storm Control.
- Hands-on experience with L3 routing protocols: Static Routing, OSPF, BGP, ECMP, IPv6, and Multicast.
- Working knowledge of MPLS protocols and their ecosystem.
- Exposure to or experience with NMS/EMS systems, device management, and network monitoring frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills across complex distributed systems.
