About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while growing your technical skills in a collaborative remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders
• Support backend development and API integration tasks
• Participate in code reviews and software testing
• Maintain technical documentation and project updates
• Help improve application performance and reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
• Basic to good knowledge of Java programming
• Familiarity with Core Java, OOP concepts, and data structures
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of REST APIs and backend development basics
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Microservices
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control tools
• Internship, academic projects, or coding portfolio
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies
