Job Summary as Java Developer

• We are currently searching for professionals with around 3 years proven experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies.

• Primarily responsible for developing and customizing enterprise products & solutions for augmenting human identity & security using biometrics:

•

• Hands-on development using agile development methodologies for creating high-quality software products and solutions using Java/J2EE

• Should be capable of carrying solutions from design, implementation, testing & deployment

• On-time delivery of code in support of product plans and project milestones

• Report on product/project status to senior management

• Collaborate on development projects with team of engineers located in Bangalore and Europe

• Support POCs & benchmark exercises in APAC & Europe (around 20% international travel)

• Work well within a fast-paced cross-functional environment with multiple teams including engineering, infrastructure/IT, R&D and business development

To succeed in the above mission, you will need the following skills/experience:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a similar role that includes a Backend Micro service development and Security industry exposure in solution design and delivery

• Experience working on projects involving collaboration between software development & integration is a plus

• Very strong background in core Java, J2EE, RESTFul/SOAP based webservices

• Experience with the following is a must: Message oriented middleware; Tomcat or WildFly (JBoss); Building SOA web-services/REST; Junit testing

• Hands-on experience on building Maven or Gradle tools

• Experience with one or more of following is plus – CDI, Event Management System, Spring, Hibernate, Multi-threading or distributed system

• Experience with one or more agile project management tools like Jira is a plus

• Experience with Open Stack or Amazon Web Services is a plus

• Effective communicator capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization

• Strong team player, results oriented, metric driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment.
