Java Senior Developer

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities: Service Development & Delivery

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot aligned to business and technical requirements.

Build and enhance Microservices with clear boundaries, well-defined APIs, and robust error handling.

Implement RESTful services and integrate with internal/external systems while ensuring reliability and performance. Quality, Stability & Support

Write unit and integration tests to ensure correctness, maintainability, and regression safety.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver sustainable fixes and improvements.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and reusable components. Collaboration & Execution

Work in an agile setup, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and timely delivery of features.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, propose solutions, and manage dependencies.

Additional Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech) or Master's degree (MTech/MCA/MSc) as applicable.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Strong experience building applications using Spring Boot.

Practical experience designing and delivering Microservices-based solutions.

Solid understanding of API design, debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with REST API design best practices, versioning, and backward compatibility strategies.

Exposure to service resilience patterns (timeouts, retries, circuit breakers) and observability practices (logs/metrics/traces).

Experience with performance tuning and improving service latency and throughput.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices and working closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployments.

Proven ability to mentor peers, drive code quality, and contribute to technical discussions and solution design. Good to have skills: Hibernate/JPA, Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
