Bachelor's degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
5+ years of Java API development experience.
2+ years of experience working with report generation technology (preferably Eclipse BIRT or similar)
3+ years of experience in AWS cloud.
Basic understanding of Mainframe
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience with webservices, JDBC and servlet-based architecture
Knowledge of version control tools like Git, GitHub
Familiarity with application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment including the ability to provide guidance to team members.
Good to have XLST knowledge.
The Ideal Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Eclipse BIRT framework to setup report layout, data source configuration and scripting, eventually to generate on-demand templatized reports.
Experience with legacy modernization or system migration projects
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
Work experience on Retirement products or financial services domain knowledge is a plus
