Java Production Support

Description

We are seeking a Java Production Support professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in supporting Java applications in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Java-based applications in production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features and fixes.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Create and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures.
• Provide on-call support as needed and participate in after-hours maintenance activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java programming and related technologies.
• Proficiency in database management with SQL and experience in Oracle or MySQL.
• Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Experience with monitoring tools and debugging techniques.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
