Job Profile: Senior Java OMS Developer
Location: Chennai / Hyderabad / Bangalore / Noida
Work Mode – Hybrid (3 days onsite mandatory)
Preferred experience: 5+ years
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Java OMS Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Order Management Systems (OMS). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS or Manhattan OMS, along with strong knowledge of order processing, inventory management, sourcing, and fulfilment workflows. The role requires a combination of strong Java development skills and deep OMS product knowledge. Candidates should be comfortable working on OMS configuration, integrations, APIs, user exits, agents, pipelines, and enterprise application workflows.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17+ and J2EE.
· Develop scalable and maintainable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
· Configure, customize, and integrate IBM Sterling OMS or Manhattan OMS based on business requirements.
· Work with OMS components including APIs, User Exits, Agents, Pipelines, and configuration.
· Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs for OMS and external systems.
· Implement event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ.
· Develop solutions supporting order processing, inventory management, sourcing, fulfilment, and order lifecycle workflows.
· Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Troubleshoot application and OMS-related issues and provide root-cause analysis.
· Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
· Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
· Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
