Job Description
We are hiring experienced professionals for a remote contract opportunity for the role of Java Microservices & Azure APIM Administrator.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java Microservices support, Azure API Management (APIM), Kubernetes/AKS administration, and production support for enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Java Spring Boot Microservices environments
- Manage Azure API Management (APIM) platform and API lifecycle
- Deploy and monitor containerized applications using Docker and AKS
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Work on CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Monitor applications, APIs, logs, and system performance
- Handle API security including OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS
- Collaborate with development, cloud, and infrastructure teams
- Support release management and deployment activities
- Ensure system stability, scalability, and high availability
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java & Spring Boot Microservices
- Hands-on experience with Azure APIM
- Experience with Kubernetes / AKS and Docker
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps
- Linux/Unix administration and scripting knowledge
- Experience in Production Support / Application Support environments
- Understanding of REST APIs, API Gateway concepts, and API Security
- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, ELK, AppDynamics, etc.
Preferred Skills
- Terraform / ARM Templates / Bicep
- AWS or Azure Cloud exposure
- Python scripting knowledge
- DevOps and automation experience
