Java Lead

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead with 10 to 12 years of expertise in designing and delivering scalable, Ladder bifurcates. Staff FDE (IC): deep technical authority across engagements. Engagement Lead (Mgmt.): runs a portfolio 2 or more workstreams/PODs, manages 3–6 FDEs, owns outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• IC: own the hardest problems agent architectures, eval frameworks, COBOL Java target-state; align with Enterprise Architecture
• IC: set cross-program technical strategy and reference architectures
• Mgmt: own scope, staffing, demand forecasting, BCP and delivery governance (RAG, KPIs)
• Mgmt: own client satisfaction and project health• Architecture proficiency; target-state design (PCF→GCP, COBOL→Java, IBM MQ→Kafka)
• Architecture proficiency; target-state design (PCF→GCP, COBOL→Java, IBM MQ→Kafka)
• Enterprise integration and resiliency at scale
• Mgmt.: project and people leadership, estimation, pyramid optimization• Architecture proficiency; target-state design (PCF→GCP, COBOL Java, IBM MQ→Kafka)

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Sets AIDLC standards on the account; agentic architecture and SLM strategy
• Articulates AI-productivity ROI and value frameworks to client engineering leadership
• Java/Spring Boot, GitHub + Copilot, Maven, PostgreSQL, Docker, Jira/Confluence, GCP fundamentals.
• Harness, GKE/Cloud Run, Kafka, SonarQube, Vertex AI basics; IBM Watsonx for Z (Track B).
• Terraform, Camunda/Appian, Vertex AI, agentic frameworks (Agents + Skills, MCP).
