We at Coforge are hiring a Java L2 Production Support Specialist with the following skillset:
- Provide systems and application support, including handling escalations for SDLC and distributed scheduling products.
- Work closely with technology teams to analyse and resolve issues related to code compilation, builds and artifacts, pipelines, software distribution, secure file transfer, and schedulers.
- Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends through effective troubleshooting.
- Provide infrastructure support for products and systems to enable automation and drive operational efficiency.
- Understand regional dependencies and manage regional technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, including internal and external audits and privilege management (re)certification.
- Manage incidents, including reporting production outages, conducting root cause analysis, and driving followups.
- Handle local change management and incident management representation for critical infrastructure products.
- Interface directly with the local client base and deliver their requirements within a global framework.
Required Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience working on Linux system platforms.
- Good Linux scripting/development skills; Java is an added advantage.
- Handson experience in SQL.
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as Autosys, jobscheduling systems like CRON, NIS, Apache, Tomcat, and RDBMS (DB2 / MSSQL / Oracle / Sybase), and Public/Private Cloud environments.
- Good knowledge of SDLC, CVS, SVN, Git, Maven, GitLab, Docker, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of DevOps components including code review, builds, repositories, packages, and distribution.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and related languages/markup formats: Groovy, Go, JSON, YML, INI.
- Excellent communication and soft skills (verbal and written).
