This is not a generic Java role. This is an integration-first, delivery-critical position inside a fast-scaling InsurTech system integrator. You will build and own high-impact integration layers that sit at the core of carrier platforms, including Guidewire. We expect speed, precision, accountability, and production-grade thinking from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own Java-based integration services used in enterprise insurance platforms
- Implement REST, SOAP, event-driven, and message-based integrations across complex system landscapes
- Develop and support Guidewire integrations (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) using APIs, messaging, and external service orchestration
- Own integrations end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, stabilization, and support
- Build resilient, fault-tolerant integration flows with strong exception handling and retry strategies
- Work closely with onshore teams, architects, and delivery leads to meet aggressive client timelines
- Ensure code quality, performance, security, and upgrade-safe integration design
- Participate in production issue analysis and resolution no ticket passing, full ownership
- Document integration flows, contracts, and deployment models with clarity and discipline
- Raise the bar on integration engineering standards within the team
Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of strong Java development experience in integration-heavy environments
- Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot and API-led architectures
- Solid experience building REST and SOAP services, message-driven systems, and system-to-system integrations
- Exposure to Guidewire integrations or strong willingness and capability to ramp up fast
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, security tokens, and enterprise integration patterns
- Ability to debug complex production issues and deliver fixes with speed and confidence

- Insurance domain or InsurTech experience
- Experience working in Guidewire Cloud or similar SaaS platforms
- CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment exposure
