Java FullStack Lead

• Lead end-to-end development of medium to large Java web applications, including client interaction, requirement validation, system design, frontend/UI development, and backend integration.
• Develop and maintain Java EE-based applications leveraging core Java APIs, web services, multi-threading/concurrency, XML, design patterns, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Spring Boot and implement event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure engineers and architects to identify and resolve infrastructure inefficiencies and risks.
• Analyze infrastructure constraints, regulatory issues, and process gaps; engineer automation or software solutions to improve operations.
• Support production applications, including builds, deployments, integration testing, and enterprise testing.
• Develop frontend components using React JS and JavaScript to provide rich user experiences.
• Utilize cloud-native technologies and AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, Route53, SNS, SQS, and Postgres for scalable application deployment and data management.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts for consistent environment provisioning and management.
• Write and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Selenium/Cucumber/Gherkin (AFT), and perform performance testing with Blazemeter.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for AWS Lambda functions.
• Quickly absorb knowledge about existing applications, actively engage with SME teams, and effectively communicate progress and issues.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and proactively raise concerns or ambiguities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in application development with a focus on full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Java Full Stack: Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, core APIs, concurrent programming, XML, and SOA principles.
• Microservices: Experience designing and implementing microservices using Spring Boot and event-driven design patterns.
• Frontend: Proficient in React JS and JavaScript for frontend development.
• Cloud & AWS: Practical experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, Route53, SNS, SQS, and relational databases such as Postgres.
• Infrastructure as Code: Understanding of IaC concepts and tooling.
• Testing: Expertise with JUnit, Selenium/Cucumber/Gherkin, and performance testing tools like Blazemeter.
• Scripting: Experience in Python programming, especially for AWS Lambda functions.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the services industry and associated IT systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, quick learning ability, motivated work ethic, and proactive problem-solving attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Strong familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Experience partnering with infrastructure and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
