Permanent Payroll with Quess Corp - Client Infovision
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, with a preference for candidates with a mix of start-up and large-company experience
- Supply Chain domain expertise solutioning supply chain solution using Manhattan / Blue Yonder / any popular WMS
- Influence the Buy Vs Build decision for various modules of Supply chain tech
- Hands-on experience driving software transformations within high-growth environments at scale
- Exposure to large-scale, cloud-based, and event-driven systems
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience to influence results
- Mandatory 3 days working from Bangalore customer location
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as one of the senior engineers in the Supply Chain domain,supporting, designing & building a technical architecture that interfaces with many different supply chain systems
- Play a key role in developing and driving a multi-year technology solution for Supply Chain
- Design, implement and refactor interfaces / integrations to implement high-quality, scalable, future-proof services that will have effective system boundaries
- Conduct technical debate across an entire platform and help come to durable documented conclusions
- Contribute to high-impact architectural solutions and hands-on development, including inception, design, execution, and delivery following good design and coding practices
- Obsessively focus on production readiness for the team including testing, monitoring, deployment, documentation, and proactive troubleshooting
- Identify risks and gaps in technical approaches and propose solutions to meet the department's technical vision
- Influence and contribute to the department's strategy and roadmap
- Support the growth of other engineers technically by mentoring, pairing, and developing other opportunities for education
- Be externally recognized as a collaborative and credible subject matter expert for the broader team's focus area
Technology Requirements
- Good hands-on working knowledge with Java related technology and open mind to work on any technology to support Product & Business needs
- Exposure solutioning Supply chain system using standard products and protocol available in market like WMS platform
- Experience working with WMS systems
- GCP target cloud platform, experience with AWS/Azure at scale
- Distributed microservice architectures with well architected domain boundaries
- High volume async messaging architectures
- Large scale relational and NoSQL style data stores
- Common open-source platforms, tools and framework, eg: Kafka, Kubernetes, Containerization, Java microservices, GraphQL, Spring, etc
