About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Java Developer with expertise in Java, AngularJS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and lead scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and a passion for leveraging modern technologies—including AI-assisted development tools—to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot/Microservices) and AngularJS.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical solutions.
- Drive best practices in coding standards, design patterns, and code reviews.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide timely resolutions.
AI-Driven Engineering Practices
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to improve productivity, accelerate development cycles, and enhance code quality.
- Promote AI-enabled practices such as automated code generation, intelligent debugging, and documentation assistance.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI/ML frameworks or services where applicable to enhance application capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 9–12 years of strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and REST APIs.
- Strong experience with AngularJS (or Angular) and modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud-native design patterns and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
