Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Java Developer with hands-on experience in Java-based application development and modern enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Waterfall environments.

This role requires strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, databases, microservices, and frontend integration, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Develop applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Work with JPA, Hibernate, and SQL databases
  • Collaborate with frontend teams using JSP, JavaScript, and Angular
  • Contribute to microservices-based application development
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Waterfall environments
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in Java development
  • Experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with JPA, Hibernate, and SQL
  • Experience working with Oracle database
  • Knowledge of JSP, JavaScript, and Angular for frontend integration
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of message queues
  • Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
  • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodologies

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with WebLogic and IBM MQ
  • Exposure to cloud-native application development
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
  • Experience working with microservices and distributed systems

Relevant Experience Preferred

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Qualification

Any degree relevant to IT or related field
