Java Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:

Kiya.ai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with expertise in service-oriented architectures and modern web technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications for our financial and government clients, ensuring high performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable Java applications from conception to deployment.
• Lead the development of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions and consume/produce Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Utilize and integrate various web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery for front-end development.
• Efficiently parse and generate data using markup languages such as XML and JSON.
• Apply advanced Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and demonstrate a deep understanding of common design patterns to solve complex problems.
• Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver integrated and effective solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and resolve complex bugs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and architectural standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience in Java development.
• Extensive practical experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and developing/consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Demonstrated experience with markup languages such as XML and JSON for data interchange.
• Solid and demonstrable experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and practical application of common design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Observer, Strategy).
• Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
