About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Curately AI, Inc. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that form the backbone of our platform. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a strong foundation in system architecture, microservices, and distributed systems. As a senior member of the team, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of our backend infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, frontend development, DevOps, and leadership to deliver robust solutions that meet business objectives and technical standards.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have extensive professional experience in Java backend development, demonstrating proficiency with Spring Boot and related frameworks. A strong understanding of designing and implementing RESTful APIs, service-oriented architectures, and microservices is essential. Candidates should possess excellent system design skills, with the ability to think through scalability, reliability, and performance considerations. Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization is required. Additionally, the candidate must have proven debugging and problem-solving capabilities in production environments.
