Java Devops Engineer

Job description

ideally 4+ years Java engineering experience using Java 8 or later in data intense environment

solid understanding in networking, web technologies and application security, including API-first mindset, REST and SOAP, API gateways/proxies, load balancing, web security, X509, OAuth

system thinking with the ability to understand and work in a complex application landscape

experience with Cloud Architecture on Azure, application containerization

attention to details and the ability to maintain focus in a challenging diverse solution landscape

good Linux skills (preferably RedHat, RPM experience is a plus, bash/python)

hands on experience with event driven architecture is a plus

experience in working transparently in an agile environment, share and cooperate as a team

Strong technical skills with:

o Spring and Spring Boot

o REST API implementation and design (OpenAPI / Swagger, Apigee)

o IBM MQ and Kafka (Spring JMS)

o CI/CD, Docker, Ansible, GitLab / Git, Maven build management

o relational databases such as Oracle/PostgreSQL and Liquibase

o Azure Cloud services (especially AKS, WebApp, Postgres, AKV, Vnet)
