We are sourcing an on-site Java Developer to join a fast-paced engineering team building scalable backend services for mission-critical applications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, implement microservices patterns, and ensure clean service contracts and versioning.
- Integrate with relational databases, write efficient SQL, and optimise data access layers using Hibernate/JPA.
- Deliver high-quality code with unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow CI/CD pipelines for regular releases.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, profile performance bottlenecks, and implement fixes to ensure reliability and low latency.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and drive delivery on-site.
