About The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Java Developer to join an on-site engineering team building high-availability, enterprise-grade backend services. This role focuses on designing and implementing microservices-based APIs, improving application performance, and ensuring robust CI/CD and testing practices in an Agile delivery environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, delivering reliable RESTful APIs for internal and external clients.
- Architect and implement microservices components, including service-to-service communication, resilience, and observability.
- Implement persistence layers with Hibernate/JPA and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in peer code reviews, and enforce code quality and secure coding standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver features through CI/CD pipelines and Agile ceremonies.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, perform performance tuning, and contribute to technical design discussions.
