We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Java, J2EE technologies, and TopLink ORM to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements, estimate efforts, and design scalable applications.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java 1.6, J2EE 5, Struts 1.X, JSP, Servlets, and Web Services (JAX-WS, JAXB).
- Implement TopLink ORM API/Workbench for database integration.
- Design and develop using Rational Software Architect (RSA) / RAD in an Agile-based environment.
- Work with design patterns, UML modeling, and framework-level design.
- Optimize queries and manage database operations in Oracle 10g and PL/SQL.
- Perform unit testing, deployment, and configuration management using IDEs like IBM RAD 6.x / RSA 7.0 and WAS 6.x application server.
- Implement authentication, authorization, action messages, and error handling.
- Guide the team on best practices in J2EE technologies, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java, J2EE, and TopLink ORM.
- Hands-on expertise in multithreading, security, transactions, and persistence.
- Proficiency in IBM RAD, RSA, WebSphere, and configuration management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
