Java Developer With SNMP Experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software solutions for network management and monitoring
- Implement and integrate SNMP v1/v2/v3 protocols for device monitoring and control
- Work with MIBs, OIDs, and Trap Handling using SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries
- Develop REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot for data access and management
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards
- Document software designs and implementations
- Work in a Linux environment, utilizing shell scripts and commands for development and deployment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Java software development
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and OOPs concepts
- Experience with SNMP v1/v2/v3, MIBs, OIDs, Trap Handling, and SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries
- Good understanding of Networking concepts: IP, TCP/UDP, Routing basics
- Experience in Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs development
- Hands-on experience in a Linux environment (commands, shell scripts)
- Experience with NMS/EMS applications or network monitoring systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of protocol debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, SNMP testers)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to join within Immediate to 30 days notice period
