About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Textellent, Inc. This role is pivotal in accelerating our development initiatives through AI-driven practices and building scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs, managing database architecture, and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features that enhance our platform's capabilities. As a key contributor, you will leverage AI tools to automate coding processes, improve efficiency, and support innovation. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development with a strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. You should have a solid understanding of SQL databases and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS. Familiarity or interest in AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting are essential. Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for innovation and automation in software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend functionalities utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Design, optimize, and manage relational databases using SQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS services.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins to streamline development workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid delivery of features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable features.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to maintain optimal system performance.
