Job Opening: Java Backend Developer

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Experience: 5-8 years

Compensation: up to 18 LPA depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high performance, scalable, robust and reliable applications using java & Spring
• Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team
• Write automated unit and integration tests as appropriate to support continuous integration pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams that include developers, QA, product owners, TPMs to implement the extensible and scalable solutions
• Evaluating third parties APIs and capabilities to integrate with product
• Creation and maintenance of proper documentation for Design, Architecture, API specs, interfaces etc.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, etc.

Desired profile of the candidate:

• Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other modern java stack technologies
• Relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL/MYSQL and any NoSQL database
• Must have experience with REST and XML/JSON/Protobuf
• Strong technical knowledge on various streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache/Redis etc
• Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, Swagger etc
• Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Veracode etc
• Application security standards like OWASP
• Git (Gitlab / Github)
• Strong analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Keep up the pace with the latest technology and developments in the industry

Good to Have:

• Knowledge in the Payments domain
• Cloud-Native Design & Containerisation (Docker)
• Knowledge of AWS (Or any other Cloud Platform)
