Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices following enterprise architecture and coding standards
  • Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous applications using Kafka or Solace/MQ
  • Develop Kafka producers/consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message-processing workflows
  • Work with Solace PubSub+ / MQ for reliable messaging and event distribution, where applicable
  • Implement business logic, data processing, error handling, and exception management
  • Ensure applications are scalable, highly available, secure, and performant
  • Participate in the complete SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Troubleshoot application, API, microservices, and messaging-related issues
  • Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
  • Implement unit and integration testing using appropriate Java testing frameworks
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud/containerized application deployments where required

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience
  • Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
  • Solid experience developing Microservices-based applications
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs and service integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka OR Solace/MQ
  • Good understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with Git and standard software development practices
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
