Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Spark and backend application development. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-quality software solutions while working with large-scale data systems and modern cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring, and RESTful services
  • Build and optimize data processing solutions using Apache Spark
  • Write secure, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for application issues
  • Design solutions with awareness of upstream and downstream system dependencies
  • Utilize SDLC tools and automation frameworks to improve development efficiency
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets to support application stability and decision-making
  • Participate in code reviews, refactoring activities, and enforcement of coding standards
  • Work with relational databases, primarily Oracle, for data persistence and optimization
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated build and deployment processes
  • Apply secure coding practices to ensure reliable and stable application development
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technical standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or application development
  • Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Apache Spark
  • Strong expertise in Oracle RDBMS and SQL development
  • Experience working with REST APIs and backend service development
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud technologies, containers, and streaming platforms such as Kafka
  • Experience using source control tools such as Git
  • Good understanding of CI/CD tools including Jenkins and build tools like Maven or Gradle
  • Strong focus on delivering resilient, secure, and high-quality software solutions
