JAVA Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Java Developer to join KVC Consultants Ltd. In this role, you will leverage your 8+ years of expertise in developing core Java applications, with a strong focus on distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and monitoring robust solutions using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and various persistence technologies, all within an Agile environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop core Java applications across enterprise, SME, or start-up environments.
• Design, build, and monitor microservices.
• Integrate Java applications with various persistence technologies including JPA, Hibernate, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Utilize Java 11+ features, including Streams, Lambdas, and Functional Programming, for efficient code.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps.
• Work comfortably in Agile environments with iterative development and regular demos.
• Implement container orchestration using Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• Apply working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts.
• Utilize familiarity with event-driven technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQ, Event Buses).
• Collaborate within an Agile framework, applying software development best practices.
• Use version control systems, particularly Git, for code management.

Skills Requirement:

• 8+ years of experience developing core Java applications.
• Proven experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful API development.
• Experience in designing, building, and monitoring microservices.
• Solid background in persistence technologies including JPA, Hibernate, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in Java 11+, including features like Streams, Lambdas, and Functional Programming.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).
• Front-end development experience using React or Angular with a good understanding of leveraging best practices around HTML, CSS3/Tailwind, Responsive designs.
• Comfortable in Agile environments.
• Experience with container orchestration using Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts.
• Familiarity with event-driven technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQ, Event Buses).
• Hospitality services domain experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
