Java Developer

Head Hunter India is seeking a skilled and proactive Java Developer to deliver comprehensive software solutions. In this role, you'll translate client specifications into technical designs, taking full ownership of the end-to-end development lifecycle from design to deployment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with integration technologies (training provided) and grow into a consulting capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver robust software-related solutions, translating client specifications into detailed technical designs.
• Work effectively with various integration technologies and platforms (e.g., SAP, SnapLogic); training will be provided to ensure your proficiency.
• Take full ownership of the end-to-end development activity, including:
• Designing solutions
• Coding
• Testing
• Debugging
• Deployment
• Create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and perform ongoing maintenance.
• Potentially take on consulting responsibilities, such as ensuring development deadlines are met, assisting clients with implementation tasks, and mentoring junior developers.

Skills

• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience working with an IDE (Integrated Development Environment), such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Proficiency with Maven, JUnit, and Log4J.
• Knowledge of the Apache Camel framework is a plus.
• Experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Comfortable with code quality and vulnerability assessment tools like SonarQube and Grype.
• Experience with Web Services and API technologies (REST, SOAP, OAuth, SSL).
• Good understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) processes.
• Quick learner and adaptable to new tools and technologies.
• Team player with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, coupled with a friendly demeanor.
• A bright mind and the ability to understand complex platforms.
• Ability to understand technical/engineering concepts and to learn integration product functionality and applications.
• Demonstrated user-focused technical writing ability, capable of communicating complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience within an IT Software Development Environment in Java programming.
• Programming Languages: Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, and/or C# will be an advantage.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is desirable.
• Language: Proficient in English.
• Additional Affinity: Affinity with any integration platform/software like Boomi, SAP Cloud Integration, or SnapLogic is good to have.
