Java Developer – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals and a passion for building scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
  
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  
• Work on backend development and API integrations
  
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams
  
• Debug and resolve technical issues
  
• Optimize application performance and scalability
  
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
  
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and frameworks
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts
  
• Understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
  
• Familiarity with Spring / Spring Boot framework
  
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices
  
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems
  
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  
  

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)

• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
  
• Knowledge of frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
