Job Description

Black And White Business Solutions is actively seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with robust back-end development experience. This pivotal role requires strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Python for building scalable, high-performance services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with REST APIs, microservices architectures, various database types, and possess hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools. Experience in the Payments domain with relevant standards is highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

Back-end Development: Possess strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python for developing scalable, high-performance services.
API & Microservices Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and working extensively with microservices architectures.
Database Management: Exhibit a strong understanding of both RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, ELK), including design, optimization, and querying.
Messaging Platforms: Gain experience with messaging platforms like Solace, MQ, or similar technologies for asynchronous communication.
DevOps Practices: Apply hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and utilizing infrastructure automation tools like Ansible scripts and HELM charts.
Containerization & Orchestration: Show proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for deploying and managing applications.
Problem-Solving: Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex tasks and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Payments Domain (Highly Valued): Possess experience in the Payments domain, including knowledge of standards like ISO20022, SWIFT, Fedwire, AFT, ACH, and EDI.
