Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure and applications leveraging AWS and automation tools.
  • Build and maintain RESTful services and backend components using Python and other scripting languages.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and automate environment provisioning using Chef or Ansible .
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance deployment processes and ensure reliability.
  • Work with both Linux and Windows environments, optimizing performance and security.
  • Utilize and integrate open-source tools to streamline workflows and monitoring.
  • Support microservices architectures , messaging frameworks, and scalable API-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery practices following Spotify model , 10-factor CI/CD , and 12-factor app principles .
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and drive automation across the infrastructure stack.
  • Years of Experience5 8 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Automation roles.
  • Educational Qualification & Certifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Preferred Cloud Certification: AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Skill Set RequiredMust Have (Key Skills):

  • Strong hands-on experience in Python , Go , or JavaScript .
  • Expertise in RESTful services , Jenkins CI/CD , and configuration automation (Chef, Ansible).
  • Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure management .
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks ( Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS ) and shell scripting .
  • Working experience in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with open-source tools and modern testing frameworks (Unit, Integration, TDD).
  • Understanding of Agile , DevOps , and Spotify model for software delivery.

  • Knowledge of designing scalable, cloud-friendly systems .
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and deliver timely, quality outcomes.
