Java Backend

Key responsibilities Own the backend codebase during and after takeover; run security remediation and technical-debt reduction. Build and harden the integration and API layer to the wider Whitbread estate. Support the migration engineers on the data-access and platform side of the ETL. Own platform-level non-functional work: performance, resilience and security retest. Contribute to the reverse-shadow release that proves ITC Infotech can ship cleanly. Essential skills and experience Eight years or more backend engineering on .NET and Azure, with strong API and integration design. Demonstrable security-remediation and code-hardening experience on inherited systems. Comfort owning a codebase you did not write, fast. Desirable Experience of estate integration in hospitality or retail. Exposure to K2 Nintex back ends.
