Job Title: Java Backend Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend services and applications using Java, APIs (REST and GraphQL) and Spring Boot. Microservices Architecture: Develop and maintain scalable Microservices that communicate seamlessly through well-designed APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot 3+.

Build new APIs (REST and GraphQL) to replace legacy system components and power modern internal tools.

Work with relational databases including PostgreSQL, OR Spanner.

Deploy and operate services on GCP, with exposure to Kubernetes (nice to have).

Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and other identity protocols.

Use observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic
