Java Backend Developer Reactive / WebFlux

Mandatory: 5+ years of Java backend development with strong hands-on experience in Reactive Programming, Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, and non-blocking I/O

Location: Navi Mumbai / Bangalore / Remote

What you'll actually do

You'll lead the design and development of reactive microservices using Spring WebFlux, Reactor, and R2DBC the kind of systems that handle thousands of concurrent requests without breaking a sweat. This isn't legacy maintenance work. You'll be architecting non-blocking,high-performance systems from the ground up, defining the reactive patterns (backpressure, retries, circuit breakers) that everyone else on the team will build on.

Skills:

Expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, SQL & NoSQL databases, asynchronous workflows, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)

• Lead backend development, perform code reviews, mentor team members, and collaborate with DevOps (CI/CD, Git), frontend, and Web3 teams to deliver enterprise-grade systems.

Who you are:

You think in streams, not loops. You can explain backpressure to a junior developer without making them feel small. You've debugged a non-blocking system and can articulate why it was blocking. You believe good architecture is a form of kindness to your future teammates.
