Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend applications primarily using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Utilize Node.js extensively for building and consuming APIs, developing microservices, and integrating with diverse systems and platforms.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards in both Java and JavaScript environments.
• Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and other backend services using both Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Work with various databases (relational and NoSQL) and optimize database interactions for performance within both Java and Node.js applications.
• Implement robust security and data protection measures across all backend components.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues effectively in both Java and Node.js environments.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services and APIs built with both technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and technology stack.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and related backend technologies.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Potentially contribute to DevOps tasks such as CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance for both Java and Node.js applications.
