Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and database technologies. This role involves developing high-performance enterprise applications, building secure APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust business solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices-based architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work extensively with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Support CI/CD processes and contribute to DevOps best practices.
• Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or above).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database interaction.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or messaging frameworks is desirable.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, and build automation tools.
• Good understanding of Multi-threading, Collections, Design Patterns, and JVM concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Preferred SkillsExperience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices and application monitoring tools.

Preferred Experience :

• Building scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs.
• Experience working with high-volume transactional systems.
• Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in large-scale development projects.
