Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in this industry. The candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products required for the company's :
- Develop and designing relevant code on project needs
- Mentoring junior developers
- Create test driven environment for relevant projects
- Occasional travel to customer location across the globe may be required
- Ability to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science 4-6 years of industry experience
- Java and JEE stack (e.g. JDBC, JMX, JPA, JMS) Spring, JDBC, Hibernate, Core Java extensions
- App Servers - Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, REST APIs
- RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL)
- Excellent Object-Oriented Java programming skills with groovy development experience
- Experience with terminal operating system (port logistics) applications will be a plus
- Ability to quickly understand, debug existing code line and make improvements
- Create interfaces to integrate with different software applications
- Experience interacting with customers for scope creation and requirement definition
- Strong communication, verbal and written skills
