Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy microservices for distributed, high-performance systems.
- Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
- Design and integrate secure, efficient RESTful APIs and Java-based APIs.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with front-end teams using Angular or React to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Participate in architecture discussions and propose innovative backend solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Code Quality & Optimization
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Ensure adherence to software engineering standards such as Agile, TDD, and CI/CD.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and service orchestration.
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka for event-driven and streaming applications.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Angular or React for front-end collaboration.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT).
- Exposure to message brokers other than Kafka (RabbitMQ).
- Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
