Java Back End Developer

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Back End Developer with 6-11 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. This role offers a hybrid work mode, providing the flexibility of both remote work and in-office collaboration. We are specifically looking for candidates who can join us on an immediate to 30-day (maximum) notice period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java-based backend services and APIs.
- Implement and optimize solutions for large data processing applications using Apache Flink, Apache Beam, or Apache Storm.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, data engineers, product managers) to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, code quality, and system architecture.
- Work with database technologies such as Google BigQuery or Oracle to design schemas, optimize queries, and manage data effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-11 years of strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Proven experience with large data processing applications using frameworks like Apache Flink, Apache Beam, or Apache Storm.
- Experience with Google BigQuery or Oracle is essential.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Mandatory Skills:
- Core Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+), including multithreading, concurrency, and JVM internals.
- Backend Frameworks: Solid experience with popular Java backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or similar.
- Data Processing Frameworks: Demonstrated expertise with Apache Flink, Apache Beam, and/or Apache Storm for stream and batch processing.
- Database Management: Proficient in designing, optimizing, and working with Google BigQuery and/or Oracle databases.
- API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust solutions.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, Agile environment.
- Cloud Experience (Plus): Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is a significant advantage.
