In This Role, You Will
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Drive automation initiatives by developing automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deployment processes.
- Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef, to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
- Establish automated testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to maintain the quality and stability of Java applications.
- Champion the adoption of automation best practices across the organization, providing guidance and mentorship to team members on automation techniques and tools.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement features aligned with business objectives.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to streamline deployment processes and enhance scalability.
- Implement and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application performance and reliability, leveraging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to automation, Java development, and DevOps practices, incorporating relevant advancements into our processes and workflows.
- Graduation in technology (B.E, B.Tech & Above) with 10+ years of IT experience.
- Extensive experience in Java development, with a strong command of Java EE or Spring Framework.
- Proven track record in automation, with expertise in scripting languages like Python, Shell scripting, and automation frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality, automated solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Certified Jenkins Engineer) are a plus.
