Java Architect

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to design, develop, and drive scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining application architecture, technology strategy, engineering best practices, and mentoring development teams while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Define and drive the overall architecture strategy for enterprise-grade Java applications and distributed systems.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and solution governance across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish architecture standards, development guidelines, and engineering best practices based on SOLID principles, design patterns, and OOAD.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures leveraging RabbitMQ and AMQP/JMS messaging frameworks.
• Architect secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Keycloak, or equivalent IAM platforms.
• Drive database design, optimization, and performance tuning using PostgreSQL, QueryDSL, jOOQ, and Hibernate.
• Lead cloud adoption and modernization initiatives on Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Define CI/CD strategies and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Docker, Git, Maven/Gradle, and Linux environments.
• Ensure application scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational excellence across the software lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Mentor and coach architects, developers, and technical leads to foster engineering excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of complex, mission-critical projects.
• Drive non-functional requirements including performance, security, maintainability, reliability, and compliance.
• Advocate Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and promote best practices in software architecture and system design.
• Participate in hands-on development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and proof-of-concept activities when required.
