Java Architect

Job Description:

• Role Overview
• We are seeking a highly experienced Java Architect with 9 15 years of expertise in designing and delivering large scale enterprise applications
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining application architecture driving technology strategy leading modernization initiatives and ensuring the development of scalable secure and high performing solutions
• The role requires strong technical leadership stakeholder management and hands on experience with modern Java ecosystems and cloud native architectures

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities
• Define end to end architecture for enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot Microservices and Cloud technologies
• Design scalable resilient and secure systems aligned with business and technology objectives
• Lead architecture reviews design discussions technology evaluations and proof of concept initiatives
• Drive application modernization cloud migration and digital transformation programs
• Establish architecture standards coding practices governance frameworks and technical best practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners engineering teams and project managers to deliver strategic solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams across multiple projects
• Ensure application performance security scalability availability and maintainability
• Guide DevOps CI CD observability and automation initiatives across the engineering landscape
• Required Skills
• 9 15 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java 8 Core Java Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security and Hibernate JPA
• Extensive experience in Microservices Architecture RESTful APIs Distributed Systems and Event Driven Architecture
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns SOLID Principles Domain Driven Design DDD and Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka RabbitMQ ActiveMQ or JMS
• Strong expertise in database design and optimization across Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Git Jenkins Maven SonarQube Azure DevOps and CI CD Pipelines
• Strong understanding of security frameworks authentication authorization and secure application development
• Excellent leadership communication stakeholder management and problem solving skills

Additional Responsibilities:

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with serverless architectures and cloud native development
• Exposure to API Management Service Mesh and Observability platforms
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code Terraform CloudFormation Ansible
• Experience in Agile SAFe and large scale enterprise delivery environments
• Relevant Java Cloud or Architecture certifications will be an added advantage
