Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java Application Support Lead to manage and support critical applications within the hospitality domain. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers and support engineers, ensuring smooth L2 support operations, and maintaining high system availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers and support engineers for L2 application support.
  • Monitor and support Java-based applications in a production environment.
  • Perform detailed log analysis and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Work on incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for monitoring using tools like Splunk.
  • Drive continuous improvement in application performance and support processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required Skills (Mandatory):

  • Strong experience in Java applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL/MySQL.
  • Expertise in log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk).
  • Hands-on experience in application monitoring and production support.
  • Proven experience in leading or mentoring a support team.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or cloud-based environments.
  • Experience in the hospitality domain.
