Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Java Application Support Lead to manage and support critical applications within the hospitality domain. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers and support engineers, ensuring smooth L2 support operations, and maintaining high system availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers and support engineers for L2 application support.
- Monitor and support Java-based applications in a production environment.
- Perform detailed log analysis and troubleshoot application issues.
- Work on incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs.
- Create and maintain dashboards for monitoring using tools like Splunk.
- Drive continuous improvement in application performance and support processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Required Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong experience in Java applications.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL/MySQL.
- Expertise in log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk).
- Hands-on experience in application monitoring and production support.
- Proven experience in leading or mentoring a support team.
Good to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or cloud-based environments.
- Experience in the hospitality domain.
