Role: Java Frontend with Web Application Developer
Location: Chennai
Mode: Full Time
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Java-based web application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in JSP, Servlets, and traditional Java web frameworks.
- Proven experience managing and upgrading Java dependencies using Maven or Gradle.
- Proficient with the Eclipse IDE for Java development.
- Solid understanding of Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and participation in peer code reviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing Java web applications built with JSP and traditional frameworks.
- Apply secure coding practices, with a focus on identifying and resolving vulnerabilities such as Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and other common web security issues.
- Upgrade outdated and vulnerable libraries to ensure application security and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members using Git-based workflows, actively participating in code reviews and pull requests
