Job description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage APIs using Apigee, including API proxy creation, policies, security, and traffic management.
• Develop and integrate RESTful services with internal and external applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Implement API security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, and Access Control Policies.
• Perform API lifecycle management, including publishing, versioning, monitoring, and decommissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and API-related issues while ensuring high availability and performance.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through code improvements and best practices.
• Develop unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and application components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
